When kitties breed they breed off and on through out the day and night for days on end !

Breeding can last for an entire week, even 8 and 9 days. Breeding will continue if the queen comes back into heat and a male is introduced, the process repeats until a pregnancy occurs.

It is the female that engages the male for breeding when in heat in almost every instance.They will only be receptive for breeding if they are in heat. Queens typically come into heat every month or two months.

Males are ALWAYS READY if there is a queen in heat and he is more than happy to service the queen.

Males actually will try to breed at any time, but it is up to the queen to accept the male or not.
